FOLEY, Ala. — Baldwin Health is proud to announce that Margaret Roley, chief executive officer of Baldwin Health, has once again been recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the nation’s “236 Women Hospital and Health System Presidents and CEOs to Know” for 2026. The annual recognition honors exceptional healthcare leaders who are expanding access to care, improving patient outcomes and shaping the future of healthcare across the country.
Roley has served Baldwin Health since 2006, first as chief nursing officer and, since early 2022, as chief executive officer. Under her leadership, Baldwin Health has embarked on a transformative investment of more than $200 million to enhance healthcare services for the region. Today, Baldwin Health’s team of approximately 1,200 employees supports a growing network of physician practices, outpatient clinics and emergency care locations, providing more than 409,000 patient encounters annually through its hospital, outpatient services and physician offices. Residents throughout Baldwin County also benefit from access to 22 outpatient care locations and two 24/7 emergency departments.
“Being recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review is an incredible honor, but this recognition truly belongs to our entire Baldwin Health team,” said Margaret Roley, CEO of Baldwin Health. “Every day, our physicians, nurses, clinicians and support staff demonstrate an unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional care to our patients and community. I am grateful to work alongside such dedicated professionals who make our mission possible.”
Roley’s leadership has helped position Baldwin Health as one of Alabama’s leading community hospitals, earning multiple Leapfrog “A” Hospital Safety Grades while continuing to invest in advanced technology, expanded services and improved patient experiences.
“We are incredibly proud of Margaret and this well-deserved national recognition,” said Frances Holk-Jones, chair of the Baldwin Health Board of Trustees. “Her vision, leadership and commitment to our patients, employees and community continue to guide Baldwin Health forward as we expand access to high-quality healthcare throughout Baldwin County.”
