Since taking on the role of CEO in 2022, Margaret Roley has been instrumental in leading Baldwin Health to new heights. With over 30 years of healthcare experience in Baldwin County, Roley’s leadership has focused on providing high-quality patient care, ensuring patient safety, and promoting organizational growth. She has spearheaded a $200+ million hospital expansion project that is expected to be completed in 2024, expanding the reach and capabilities of Baldwin Health's services.
Under Roley's leadership, Baldwin Health’s team of 1,200 employees has handled more than 409,000 encounters across its hospital, outpatient clinics, and physician offices. Baldwin Health provides residents with access to two 24/7 emergency care locations and 22 outpatient access points. This extensive network of healthcare services allows Baldwin Health to meet the diverse needs of the Baldwin County community and beyond.
Margaret Roley’s leadership has earned Baldwin Health prestigious accolades, including multiple Leapfrog Group "A" safety grades and a CMS 4-star hospital rating, further cementing her commitment to excellence in patient care and safety.
Roley, a former chief nursing officer, has always believed in the power of listening to those she serves—whether it be employees, patients or visitors.
