How it works
Before surgery, a CT scan is taken to create a computerized 3D model of your hip or knee, allowing your physician to plan the placement and alignment of the joint implant. During surgery, the robotic arm uses the model to provide "real-time" measurements and visualization – allowing your surgeon to test and fine-tune placement and alignment. The robot also helps the surgeon very precisely customize the fit of the implant.
